Transdisciplinary network of innovative medicine

The Medizin.NRW cluster brings together the various stakeholders in innovative medicine in a powerful network. A central goal of the cluster is to support and accelerate the translation of innovations along the value chain.

NRW is one of the strongest innovation locations in the healthcare industry in Europe. In order to further expand this success in global competition, the Medizin.NRW cluster works hand in hand with companies, universities, research institutes and associations. Medizin.NRW sees itself as an impulse generator, initiator and moderator at the same time and supports networking and the development of cooperation projects.

On behalf of the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia, the DLR project management agency has been operating the Medizin.NRW office since 2019. The cluster is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MKW) and by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
